Algo Software for Indian market

There are lots of algo software available in India, have any one come across the best Algo service provider? Please list

I started using next algo since 1st July-24 and found reasonable for consistency as there is limited loss and limited profit. 1st week result is 70% profit trade. I will share weekly performance.

Hey gaurav,

Can you share any update on the profits.

I am using Divine and Brightextech and not getting much out of it.

It will be best if you can share which plan you took and the capital you are using.

Could you please details of Algo.

what are they

Algorithmic (algo) trading software is a set of computer instructions (algorithms) that analyse market data and execute trades automatically without human intervention. It’s like having a super-smart trader working for you 24/7, without taking any breaks!

These trading algorithms, created by traders or quantitative analysts, identify profitable trading opportunities in the market based on specific rules and criteria. These criteria mostly include price, timing, and quantity instructions. When all conditions in the algorithm are met, trades are seamlessly executed in your trading account/platform.

At its core, algorithmic trading software consists of:

Capturing real-time price and other market information
Quantitative models that analyse the data to identify trading signals
Automated order execution systems to open and manage trades
Risk management systems to control the size of each trade and limit losses
All trading algorithms use rules-based logic and advanced mathematical models to make split-second trading decisions. Thus, human emotion and error are eliminated in your trading journey! Trades are placed automatically once the software recognises the right market conditions, rather than a person having to click a buy or sell button manually.

Algorithmic trading (algo-trading) uses computer programs to automatically execute trades based on predefined rules like price, timing, or volume. It offers speed, efficiency, and consistency while enabling traders to monitor multiple markets at once.

Common strategies include trend-following, mean reversion, arbitrage, market making, and scalping. However, it also carries risks such as model failures, tech issues, liquidity challenges, and regulatory compliance.

Any thoughts on algo-trading can really help retail traders, or is it something only professionals should use?

In my experience, algo-trading can support retail traders if it’s approached with the right discipline. For example, even simple rule-based strategies like moving average crossovers or mean reversion can be automated to remove emotional bias and ensure consistent execution. However, the challenge lies in robust backtesting, managing slippages, and handling technical issues such as latency or connectivity failures. Professionals may have more advanced infrastructure, but SEBI regulations now allow retail traders to explore algos within a safe framework. Ultimately, success depends on understanding both the strategy and the risks involved.
