New Update for Monday Market!
Monday, January 22, 2024, will be a market holiday for the equity, F&O, and currency segments. Commodity markets will be closed for the first half, and trading will be open only in the evening session (5:00 pm onwards).
The expiry date for the Bankex and Midcap Nifty indices has been revised from January 22, 2024, to January 20, 2024.
Why?
In view of Government of Maharashtra having declared January 22, 2024 as a public holiday under
Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, Members are requested to note the revised
settlement schedule provided as below annexures to circular. Kindly note there shall be no trading and
settlement for ‘I’ & ‘2’ 2024016.
