Isubscribed to one of the ready strategies “BANKNIFTY OPTIONS SCALPING” that is active in morning time from 915 am onwards and it generally closes before 12 noon .It gave me modest profits in first week anf then latwron wiped out the profit and further went into deep losses .Anyone has subscribed to the same algo ?
It would be help if one can guide me as ro when to use kill switch for thos particular algo .In last one week it has gone deep red ,probably to do something with the expiry
If you enable the Kill Switch, it will stop taking any upcoming positions across all strategies.
However, if you want to stop only a particular strategy, you can simply unsubscribe from that specific strategy.
Yes ,i am aware of these functionalities but my queation is wheather during expiry the voltility and gamma shoot causes wiping out of our profits ,and is the expiry time bad time to continue the algo .I nn brief ,is it appropriate to use kill switch during expiries ?

Some strategies are designed to perform during expiry sessions, while others may experience larger drawdowns depending on market conditions. We don’t recommend enabling the Kill Switch solely because it’s an expiry day. If a strategy’s risk or drawdown exceeds your comfort level, you can use the Kill Switch or unsubscribe based on your own risk management preferences. It’s generally better to evaluate a strategy over a longer period and across different market conditions rather than based on a few expiry sessions.
