Infosys, Bharti Airtel, UltraTech Cement, Tech Mahindra, Titan, and TCS were among the top gainers in the Sensex. On the NSE Nifty50 index, Apollo Hospitals, Infosys, Bharti Airtel, UltraTech Cement, and TCS were the biggest gainers. On the other hand, NTPC, JSW Steel, Power Grid, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, and Nestle India declined the most among the 30 Sensex shares. Among the Nifty50 shares, NTPC, JSW Steel, Bajaj Auto, Power Grid, and Coal India were the top losers.
Broader indices are continuing their winning streak for the 10th consecutive day, with Nifty Smallcap 100 up by around 0.4-0.5%, Nifty Midcap 100 rising by 0.4%, and Nifty Microcap 250 gaining 0.3-0.4%.
The Nifty IT index has surged over 1%, emerging as the top sectoral gainer, followed by Nifty FMCG, which is up by around 0.35%. However, Nifty Pharma and Nifty PSU Bank are in the red. Nifty Auto, Nifty Metal, and Nifty Realty are trading near flat levels.
Meanwhile, Nifty Bank, tracking 12 private and public banks, is also trading flat around the 53,275 levels.
